Diving at Kaplaman Reef

Depth: 8-40m (26-131ft) and deeper
Visibility: 25-40m (82-131ft) and more
Accessibility: Boat
Time to visit: All year around with warmest water in summer (nov-feb)
Specifications: Be prepared to handle the current, plan this dive well.The current and waves make this a divesite with a heavy surge.This dive has a lot of marine life.This is a deep dive, plan it well.

Turtles at Kaplaman ReefKaplaman reef is a small reef, mainly consisting of pinnacles and ridges rising from 40 meters to 2 meters below the surface. The walls are home to many species of coral and invertebrates. At the current side of these ridges are many pelagic to be found such as mackerel, tuna and barracuda. Reef fish such as anthias and hawkfish and other species such as turtles, eagle rays and reef sharks are often encountered.
